Head of Advocacy

Role: Head of Advocacy

This is a full time, permanent post of 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be appointed within the Grade 7 salary range of £51,626 - £58,876 per annum.

We are now looking to expand our team to secure the next phase in our development, facilitating the Forest for the Nation initiative with Defra, advocating our work with wider stakeholders and supporting our income generation plans to help deliver the Government’s Environmental Improvement Plan and England Trees Action Plan.

As Head of Advocacy, you will work closely with the Chief Executive to drive forward the Forest for the Nation initiative, deliver a wide-ranging advocacy programme for the organisation and contribute to income generation targets.

You will build relationships, facilitate partnerships and unlock funding to scale up operational delivery and increase impact. This will focus particularly on the successful Forest for the Nation projects, whilst also advocating the National Forest model more widely to grow long-term support, extend influence and increase financial sustainability.
