How to get involved

Individuals getting involved by planting a sapling

You can contribute to the nation’s biggest, boldest long term environmental venture through planting a tree in The National Forest to mark one of life’s special occasions or in memory of a loved one. You will be invited to a special tree planting event and receive a certificate, commemorating the planting.

E.ON getting involved by planting trees

Although the National Forest Company has Government backing, we are particularly keen to work with the private sector and have a variety of ways that you can help through partnership working, sponsorship (financial and in-kind) and staff engagement.

Landowner spraying newly planted trees

You could use any of the National Forest Company's funding schemes, free tree programmes or benefit from advice and support to create and manage your own woodland in the Forest.

Volunteers are always needed for a variety of projects from dry stone walling to bat box building - whatever your interest you can find out more, and contribute your own expertise and energy. Or why not get together and commemorate your own club or group with a special planting in the Forest?
