Siege, Civil War and Special Discounts

Louise Jones, East Staffordshire Borough Council (left) and Penny Wilkinson, NFC, at Ashby Castle to launch the new discount voucher scheme.Ashby de la Zouch Castle, the scene of siege, civil war and the seat of the ‘real’ King of England, recently saw the launch of the National Forest and Beyond’s new voucher scheme. Armed with the new voucher booklet, you can explore and enjoy a whole host of fantastic attractions in and around The National Forest, including Ashby de la Zouch Castle at a fraction of the cost.

Ashby de la Zouch Castle hit the headlines recently when proof was revealed in a Channel 4 documentary that the royal line was disrupted in the 15th Century and the castle at the heart of The National Forest should have been the true home of the real King of England.

You can take advantage of two of these special offers through Forest Scene. Simply cut out the coupons below and present these to the venues when you visit to claim your admission discount.

But these are just two of the 24 fantastic special offers contained within the scheme that can save you more than £250. The booklet is bursting with discounts at attractions ranging from discovery centres to historic houses, garden centres to zoos, tea rooms to canal boat holidays.

Vouchers are available at the participating venues and tourist information centres in and around The National Forest.
