LANDshapes Overview

Together with the local community, the LANDshapes team has been able to delve into and celebrate the cultural and landscape heritage of the area now known as The National Forest. This has resulted in a number of projects,including a website and interactive archive, oral histories, magnificent sculptures, photographic competitions and a lavish new book. All these elements record and interweave the fascinating history of the Forest area with its modern metamorphosis in a celebration of a proud heritage – past, present and future.
