Taste the View

'Food in the Forest' guideThere's an incredible variety of excellent places to eat throughout The National Forest - everything from stylish restaurants to pretty, country tea rooms. Full details of more than 30 of the best have now been brought together for the first time in the 'Food in the Forest' guide.

Launching the guide, Beverley Nielson, Chief Executive of the Heart of England Tourist Board, said good, locally-sourced food is an important part of the visitor "experience". She added: "Food that reflects the distinctiveness of an area really does help to fix a place in a visitor's mind."
