Adjacent to the Youth Hostel this new eight acre, 90 pitch site represents a considerable investment by the Camping & Caravanning Club in The National Forest. It opened in September and is already receiving repeat visits as visitors realise just how much there is to do in the area. Conkers, Ashby Wolds Trail, Moira Furnace, Ferrers Centre for Arts and Crafts, Rosliston Forestry Centre and Swadlincote Ski and Snowboard Centre are all within the heart of the Forest area and easily accessible from the site.
