Rosliston Forestry Centre gets a Green Flag
Rosliston Forestry Centre has won the prestigious Green Flag award, the national standard for parks and green spaces in England and Wales.
The award sets high environmental standards and is a benchmark of excellence, recognising and rewarding exceptional green spaces. This is the first Green Flag Award for Rosliston, and all winners must apply each year to renew their Green Flag status.
Sue Anderson, Community Liaison Officer for the National Forest Company said: "Rosliston Forestry Centre is one of the most popular sites in The National Forest, offering woodland walks and numerous other activities. I am sure the many thousands of people who regularly use the Centre will only endorse this award and it is a credit to all those involved."
