Tree Schemes

Creating new woodland in The National Forest is central to the work of the National Forest Company, and you can help us do it!

New: the 500 – 2000 tree scheme

If you have space for between 500 and 2000 trees we can help you choose and design the woodland you want. You decide the types of trees you want and where they are to be planted. The rest is down to us. We arrange to have it planted and maintained for 18 months.

Extended: One Acre Woods

Due to the continued success of this scheme, it has been extended for a further year.

The NFC provides up to 420 trees (with canes and guards) absolutely free. The trees are then planted and maintained by the landowner.

To be eligible, a few simple requirements must be met:

  • the land must be in The National Forest
  • the planting must be started by 31 March 2008
  • the total area should be around one acre

Get ahead, get a hedge

Do you have a hedge that needs gapping up, a length of field that needs a new hedge or would you like to plant a small orchard or parkland? If you do then the NFC can help with funding.

Contact the National Forest Company on 01283 551211 to discuss any of these schemes. We look forward to hearing from you!
