Leah Graham

The National Forest Company (NFC) welcomes Leah Graham to the team based at Moira, near Ashby de Zouch.  Leah’s appointment as Fundraising and Development Officer comes at an exciting time for the NFC, as it embarks on a new ten year strategy.

Leah joins the National Forest Company with more than 13 years’ experience as a fundraising and development professional.  Her previous roles have included working for The Wildlife Trusts at their partnership offices in Newark, and five years at Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust managing their fundraising programme.  In 2008, Leah moved to Loughborough University to work in the Development and Alumni Relations Office where she focused on Major Donor Giving.

Environmental and heritage projects are a particular passion for Leah: “I grew up in Loughborough and have followed the development of The National Forest since its creation 20 years ago, so I am really excited to have this opportunity to get involved.  I am looking forward to learning more about all the Forest has to offer, and working with supporters to create the next exciting phase of its development.”

John Everitt, Chief Executive of the NFC, welcomed Leah’s arrival in the team:  “We have an exciting new direction for the Forest and the National Forest Company: to continue to create woodlands, develop the woodland and visitor economy, and inspire our local communities to get actively involved in the Forest.  It is perfect timing to have Leah join us as we reach out to a broader range of sponsors and supporters to help us deliver these ambitious plans.”
