Anglia Courier Express Ltd
Anglia Courier Express Ltd based in Castle Donington has embarked on a five year tree planting programme with the National Forest Company. Conscious of the environmental impact of their business, they were keen to take action to help reduce it, and choosing to work with the National Forest Company enabled them to benefit both the environment and the local area.

Chris Scothern, Business Development Manager for Anglia Courier Express Ltd, said:
“Both Jon and I enjoyed our visit to Rosliston to plant the first dozen of our 450 trees. It was good to be able to see where our trees will grow and thrive and to know that we have played a small part in the development of The National Forest. The enthusiasm of The National Forest team was impressive and we learnt a great deal about the work involved in all aspects of developing the Forest from securing funding and purchasing land to forest management and organising events such as the one we participated in. We intend to make tree planting an annual event and we’re looking forward to seeing our contribution to The National Forest grow, in every sense, over the coming years.
“The trees will also be a memorial to one of our couriers, Bryan Cresswell, who died recently. Bryan is much missed and one corner of the Forest will live on in his memory.”
