Astrazeneca
The UK is one of the major hubs of Astrazeneca - one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.
With a global business comes a global responsibility for consistently high standards of behaviour worldwide. We aim to effectively manage that responsibility and help to find new ways of bringing benefit to society to ensure that AstraZeneca continues to be welcomed as a valued member of the global community.
Their innovation is about more than just research, they maintain a culture in which their people feel valued, energised and rewarded for their ideas and contribution to their success.
Luton based Astrazeneca decided that one way of rewarding their 'Team 111' for their part in the new Crestor campaign, was to 'plantatree' for each of them so that they had a lasting reminder of the event. This resulted in 106 trees being planted at Staunton Harold, near Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.
