E.ON UK
E.ON UK is a major player in the power and gas market, and various divisions of the company have chosen to work with the National Forest Company in different ways: team building, tree planting and carbon reduction.

Energy Services supported National Lift Share Day on June 14 and encouraged colleagues to travel to work together in fewer cars. The day was a great success and the business was able to measure a saving of 2,999 miles, resulting in a reduction of 1079.64kg of CO2 emissions in just one day.
Saving this amount of CO2 is equivalent to one person not using their car for almost four months. The CO2 saved is a significant step towards Eon-UK’s target of reducing its carbon intensity by 10% by 2012. To celebrate this, Energy Services planted 50 trees in The National Forest. “Car sharing and tree planting are both part of Energy Services’ master plan to reduce carbon,” said Kelly Sneyd, Safety Health & Environmental Administrator.
