ESiT
Over the last three years ESiT software house, based in Loughborough, has planted trees in The National Forest.
The company’s business is in devising software to deliver data management solutions for organisations within the not-for-profit, commercial and environment sectors. ESiT believe Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) is more than just one of the ‘in’ things for companies to be concerned about: that it is about doing something positive and specific to protect and sustain the environment and to contribute to society.

Speaking for ESiT, Jayne Arnold said:
“Our Corporate and Social Responsibility policy is embedded deeply within ESiT and we are always keen to investigate new ways of reducing our impact on the environment. An example of this is the trialling of a hybrid vehicle for use as a company car and rewarding local charities for staff becoming ‘green commuters’. There are so many small ways companies such as ours can benefit the environment and we are pleased to be supporting The National Forest. This is the third successive year we have planted trees in The National Forest and even though our estimate for this year’s carbon footprint has significantly reduced, we will again plant 50 trees.”
