Margolis Office Environments investing in The National Forest
Margolis Office Environments is a leading office interior, fit-out, project management and office furniture supply specialist. During the firm's 100-year history, its experts have worked for some of the most prestigious clients in the world.
Margolis actively encourages clients to carry out the most sustainable workspace fit-outs possible, to offset the construction industry's carbon footprint and promote carbon neutrality.
Lara Conaway, sustainability consultant at Margolis, explained the reasons behind the sponsorship: "The National Forest Company (NFC) is doing an incredibly valuable job, returning an extensive stretch of England to its more natural state of woodland, and we're proud to contribute. The NFC's work provides a great environmental and biodiversity boost and acts as an important cog in the social and economic sustainability of the Midlands."
Margolis' initial contribution is to plant 10 trees on behalf of its clients, then another tree for every single project the company carries out. Each client will receive a certificate of sponsorship in recognition of the good cause.
"We'll also be creating a large forestry image for our reception so that every visitor has the chance to be inspired," Lara continued. "We'll be watching the National Forest grow with real excitement."
