OMC Ford
OMC Ford, is a Ford Main Dealer that have two branches in northwest England; Oldham and Rochdale, both of which are in Lancashire. The different areas of the business consist of the following.
- New Vehicle Sales
- Used Vehicle Sales
- New & Used Commercial Sales
- Service
- Rapid Fit
- Parts
- Accident Repair Centre

OMC became involved with the National Forest 'plantatree' scheme because we decided that from 2007 we wanted to act appropriately with regards the current and future environmental issues. Planting a tree for every retail vehicle sold, is just one of the many eco-friendly initiatives we have decided to implement. Other initiatives consist of recycling old batteries, sending old engine oil away to be cleansed and re-used for heating oil, recycling old tyres, recycling old cardboard packaging, and sending disused plastic bumpers back to the manufacturers for recycling.
Jonathan Eglin said: "I found it a real insight to see for myself exactly where the trees that we are investing in, are being planted. The size of the whole project by The National Forest is quite awe inspiring! Also, it was good to finally meet some of The National Forest team involved in this scheme"
