Timber Neutral import over 100 different hardwoods from their offices near Loughborough.

Marketing Director, Peter Nicholson said:
"Our eco-policy ensures that we only import sustainable timber but we wanted to do something environmentally positive here in the UK as well. As we live and work within The National Forest we decided to offer our support and to do our bit in helping to create it. So we looked at our ten most popular hardwoods and calculated that on average we were able to manufactured 10 square metres of flooring from each tree. So now, for every 10 square metres we sell we plant one native broadleaf tree here in The National Forest. Since the promotion started in February we've planted around 350 trees and are on target to reach 1000 before the end of the year."
