TNT Express ICS, based at Atherstone, and part of the TNT express delivery company, have, amongst other initiatives, promoted lift-sharing and car-free days. Not only have the team promoted and established a vibrant lift-share group, they also took advantage of National Liftshare Day and European Car Free day to call for extra efforts from staff and managers alike. Such was the response that over 2,000 travel miles were saved on the two days alone, with over 100 people taking part.

In recognition of their efforts and to promote further take-up, the TNT Express ICS management team agreed to support The National Forest Business Benefits scheme by planting 65 trees in The National Forest.
