Vortice
As part of its on-going environmental policy, Burton upon Trent based Vortice Ltd, one of Europe's leading ventilation manufacturers, has for the second year of their sponsorship planted 50 trees in a 32 acre woodland in Melbourne, Derbyshire.
One of man's basic needs is to live in a comfortable healthy environment. Our physical well-being largely depends on the quality of indoor heating, cooling and relative humidity. For this reason the air we breathe every day must be kept as pure and pollution free as possible. For 50 years Vortice has provided effective solutions for improved air quality, using the latest technology to develop and manufacture effective products worldwide.

"Our customers include housebuilders for whom energy efficiency and carbon reduction is vital. Vortice strives to supply them with cost effective ventilation systems which enable them to achieve the best possible ratings complying with required standards. This is only one part of our responsibility as a business and we are delighted to sponsor this woodland within The National Forest to give something back to the environment around us."

Environmental Manager, Samantha Jones, said: "We began this sponsorship in 2009 and have been delighted to renew it for 2010/11. Vortice is active in developing energy efficient ventilation systems and our tree planting programme is an extension of that desire for carbon reduction"
