Brief Description:
90 ha visitor attraction on the edge of Rosliston village with woodland, lakes and meadows.
Opening Times:
7am until dusk
Parking:
4 block paved bays with dropped kerbs for disabled users adjacent to visitor centre.
Trails:
Block paving around buildings. Variety of surfaces – concrete, compacted gravel, tarmac, wooden boardwalk across lake and grass. All abilities trail has quite steep slopes
leading to and from visitor centre. Benches along trails for resting.
Facilities:
Visitor centre with adapted toilets, cafeteria with double doors, shop with 2” step at entrance, classroom with double doors. Craft workshops have narrow entrances. Accessible bird hide; sensory garden with step. Picnic area and children’s play area near buildings. Timber lodges offering fully accessible accommodation.
Features of Interest:
Young and mature woodland, large lake and smaller ponds, bird of prey centre, crazy golf, regular events, cycle tracks.
