12 ha woodland and grassland bordered by the recently restored Ashby Canal and adjacent to Conkers Visitor Centre.

1 April – 30 Sept 9am-7pm. 1 Oct – 31 Mar 9am-4pm
Parking:
12 parking bays for disabled users with tarmac surface and dropped kerbs. 2m overhead barrier at entrance. Minibuses and small coaches welcome with prior notice.
Trails:
Mixed surfaces of tarmac, gravel and concrete. Gradients quite gentle, easy for electric wheelchairs, but can be difficult in parts for manual wheelchairs and buggies. Benches along trails for resting.
Facilities:
Shelter and disabled toilets adjacent to car park. All abilities children’s playground 60m from car park. Wheelchair accessible picnic tables 85m from car park. Large print interpretation boards along trails.

Young woodland, meadow, hedgerows, restored Ashby Canal and canal basin.
N.B: There is no barrier along the canal edge so care should be taken.
