A whole host of events, fairs and festivals take place throughout the year ranging from riverside regattas to scarecrow festivals, craft shows to classical concerts and flower festivals to bonfire bonanzas. There are also theatre performances, live music, concerts, talks and guided walks, food and drink fairs and folk festivals.
