An exhibition exploring how Richard III's short reign was cut short at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485 and what led to this famous confrontation with Henry Tudor. Archery Drop in Session

This session runs every Monday & Friday throughout most of South Derbyshire's school holiday periods. 9 arrows per person for £2.50. No need to book, just drop in between 2pm & 4pm and queue and do.

Sessions run every Tuesday, throughout most of the South Derbyshire school holidays. Come and investigate the site with the Environmental Education Team looking for wildlife and trying out fun activities like nest making or pond dipping as you explore!! £2 per person. Meet in the Forest Classroom (same building as the Hub Cafe).

A whole host of events, fairs and festivals take place throughout the year ranging from riverside regattas to scarecrow festivals, craft shows to classical concerts and flower festivals to bonfire bonanzas. There are also theatre performances, live music, concerts, talks and guided walks, food and drink fairs and folk festivals.

Don't miss the National Forest Wood fair over the August bank holiday, the National Forest Folk festival in July, National Forest Walking Festival in May and the brilliant Agrilympics at the National Forest Adventure Farm in August.
