Sports may include badminton, short tennis, ultimate frisbee, dodgebal, football, basketball, athletics, cricket and much more. All 8-14 year olds can join a fun splash session from 2-3.30pm for FREE while under 8's continue with sports. Commemorating the Centenary of the First World War, Battledress explores the impact of the 1914 - 18 War on Women's fashion. Drawn from the Museum's historic fashion collection the exhibition will contrast the elaborate and restricting fashions of the Edwardian period with the more practical styles that were created as a result of the War and the revolution in fashion that followed during the 1920s. Exhibition by world wide and local amateur photographers who have met via Facebook and now enjoy photographic walks in the local National Forest areas. Exhibition will be held in the Lower Temporary Exhibition Gallery within Sharpe's Pottery Museum. Entry is FREE of CHARGE, Car Parking in Swadlincote is also free of charge.
