Description of Facilities

On site toilets, restaurant/cafe (seating 60), licensed, gift shop, picnic area, site ranger/tour guide available (booking required, free during normal opening hours), maze, herb and flower gardens and museum displays. Group activities include dressing up clothes and interactives available.

Plant Fair at Donington Le Heath Manor

Great new Plant Hunters' Fair at Donington Le Heath Manor. This is a special fund raising event for the Friends of Donington Le Heath Manor with entry of only £1.00 for the Plant Fair, Gardens and Manor House.

The plant fair features highly respected specialist nurseries with a great range of perennials, alpines, shrubs, trees, rare species and old heritage varieties. The nursery folk will be more than happy to give you the benefit of their experience in planting and caring for the plants you buy so you can get the best from them.

The Medieval Manor House dating back to 1280 and has a fascinating history and was owned by one of the Gunpowder Plotters! The gardens, re-created in a 17th century style, include flower and herb gardens, an ornamental maze and an orchard.

Garden guided tours available at an extra charge. The Old Barn Tea Room will be open and serving home baked cakes, light lunches and a range of hot and cold drinks. Full details of nurseries attending from
