A linear 6.4ha woodland adjacent to the M1 near Markfield, Whittington Grange is small but intimate and sits adjacent to Whittingham Rough, an ancient semi-natural woodland. An open area has been left to enable natural regeneration from this woodland. The main species planted are oak, ash, cherry, small leaved lime, birch and rowan.
A permissive path through the site links to existing rights of way.
