Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail

7.2 km long former railway line linking Spring Cottage and Measham in Leicestershire.

 

Cycling information

Linear, mostly fairly flat, route on this forner railway line, makes it great for families cycling. 

Sarah’s Wood and Donisthorpe Woodland Park both have a small network of safe surfaced paths that make a suitable detour or visit in their own right.

 

Horse Riding Facilities

Routes:
Surfaced trackbed shared with walkers, cyclists and disabled. Gates along the track but with horse accesses provided.

Permit:
No permit required.

Bridleways:
Road links at Spring Cottage end along B5004 to Feanedock Covert and Boothorpe.
