22nd August 1485 a battle rages, King Richard III is defeated, Henry is crowned and the Tudor dynasty is born. Visit the award-winning exhibition and follow the King into battle, walk the Bosworth trail or simply enjoy a coffee in the medieval Tithe Barn restaurant.

King Richard's Reinterment - The Bosworth Story

A colourful exhibition remembering the remarkable local events to mark the procession of King Richard III's mortal remains from Bosworth Battlefield towards his final resting place at Leicester Cathedral. The exhibition will feature striking images from the day as well as the carriage on which his coffin was carried to the memorial sundial, the oak casket containing soils from Fotheringhay, Middleham and the Battlefield and a fabulous embroidered banner made originally for display in Desford.
