An historic Mediaeval deer park in the heart of the ancient Charnwood Forest with much of its original landscape, small woods, grassy slopes and rocky outcrops.
It is Leicestershire's most visited country park. 830 acres of grass, bracken, rocky outcrops, majestic trees, deer herd, river and folly "Old John Tower". Ruins of Bradgate House - birthplace of Lady Jane Grey.
This 340 ha country park and deer park of woodland and heathland is managed by the Bradgate Park Trust.
