England's newest long distance walking trail is open! Over a hundred walkers, friends and partner organisations joined the National Forest Company to launch the 75-mile National Forest Way on Saturday 17 May at Conkers Waterside.

On Monday 25 August 2014 the stage will be set at Beacon Hill Country Park, near Woodhouse Eaves in Leicestershire, for the tenth anniversary National Forest Wood Fair. The event has been a regular feature of the summer calendar since 2005, and is now established as the top regional event celebrating The National Forest and everything to do with trees, timber and woodland.

Held in the stunning setting of Beacon Hill Country Park in Leicestershire, on the south eastern tip of The National Forest, over 100 exhibitors and demonstrators will be gathered on Monday 26 August for a wonderful day filled with trees, timber and all things related to woodlands and timber industries.
