The Bingham Plants Trees in The National Forest to Lighten Christmas Landfill
The Bingham, a boutique hotel and restaurant located in Richmond, London, joined forces with the National Forest Company recently to plant trees in a new woodland in Derbyshire, on the northern boundary of The National Forest.

2020VISION in The National Forest

As they walk through the centre of the town, shoppers and business people see The Delph Market Square transformed into a magnificent street gallery, packed with over 100 stunning images by some of the top wildlife and landscape photographers in the UK.

Burton College students display their work alongside top national photographers
Students from Burton & South Derbyshire College have been invited to stage an exhibition of their work in the new gallery at Sharpe's Pottery Museum in March. It will coincide with the arrival in Swadlincote of the 2020VISION roadshow, which features some of the finest wildlife and nature photographers in the country.

This statement includes the Government's response to the Independent Panel on Forestry, set up after the consultation on the public forestry estate which ended in massive opposition for any 'sell off' of the public forest.
