The National Forest Company (NFC) has opened Round 9 of the Changing Landscapes Scheme, its largest forest creation scheme. The Scheme applies to land of one hectare and more, and is open for applications until 5pm on Friday 8 April.

It may have been wet but it definitely wasn’t a washout at the National Forest Wood Fair at Beacon Hill Country Park on Monday. Visitors turned out in their thousands for this popular event, an annual celebration of The National Forest and all things tree and timber related.
