The walk
This walk links the past, present and future of The National Forest. Historic houses, former coal mines, working granite quarries and new woodlands are linked in a route which celebrates the industrial heritage of the area and its future as part of the evolving Forest.
Parking
Available at both Staunton Harold and Foremark Reservoirs (parking charge) and at Ticknall Village Hall on Ingleby Lane.
Buses
Arriva Midlands buses serve Ticknall.
