The Walk
This is one of a series of 4 easy walks starting from Conkers Discovery Centre and exploring some of the surrounding National Forest sites. All 4 walks use the Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail and pass Moira Furnace.
Parking
Available at Conkers Discovery Centre off Rawdon Road (B586); Donisthorpe Woodland Park; Saltersford Valley and at Oakthorpe Picnic site.
Buses
Arriva Midlands 8A and 26 both serve Spring Cottage for Conkers. 25, 26 and 27 serve Donisthorpe, Oakthorpe and Measham.

This leaflet can be used in conjunction with OS Explorer 245 (The National Forest) and Landranger number 128 (Derby and Burton upon Trent).
