Programme Development Fund

Owners and managers of key strategic sites, organisations, charities, local authorities, companies or individuals within the Forest area can apply for a range of funds. These include works relating to site development, access & conservation (e.g orchards and hedgerows), heritage, communities, partnerships and management.
Grants are typically available up to a maximum of 50% of the costs. In exceptional circumstances, on sites owned in part or whole by the National Forest Company, additional grant aid beyond this 50% level may be available.
Grants are not available for core-funding expenses such as staff wages, rents or on-going maintenance costs.
Please note that only projects which directly benefit The National Forest are eligible for grant assistance.
