Everyone will know the National Forest as a place where we plant lots of trees, but over the years we have also encouraged people to express how they feel as part of the Forest and respond to the Forest in various ways.
Martin Vaughan, a local amateur photographer who lives in the heart of the National Forest, has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) – the RPS’s highest level of distinction, for his study of Birds of the National Forest.
