About the Award
Tourism Superstar 2019, is organised by VisitEngland, the official tourist board for England, and supported by the Daily Mirror. The annual Tourism Superstar competition recognises the dedication and passion of those working in the tourism industry. It is awarded to an individual who goes above and beyond to ensure visitors to England have an unforgettable experience.
To be nominated as Tourism Superstar is an amazing honour. All of us at Wild Rumpus were thrilled when the National Forest Company approached us to help them tell the story of the National Forest. Working from our tree house at the Whirligig, in amongst four acres of woodland, trees and forests have always inspired our work, and I personally believe that a strong connection to nature is vital to help us all live healthier and more vibrant lives.
Sarah and her team have helped us bring the joy of being amongst trees and woodlands to thousands of people, by helping us create a wonderful and inspiring festival. She is truly a superstar who has reimagined the Forest with us, and created something magical and enchanting, enabling people to experience the Forest in extraordinary ways.
