Woodland Economy Grant

The Woodland Economy Grant supports the development of the woodland economy in the National Forest through targeted investment. Funding is allocated through a competitive tender process that supports projects which achieve the National Forest Companies goals of ensuring future legislative compliance for firewood, increasing the volume and/or value of wood sales.

Funding is available for a wide range of woodland economy opportunities, including investment in infrastructure to support sustainable woodland management and to add value to woodland products; business, product development and skills support.

Businesses and organisations that operate within the National Forest area can apply. A clear business plan is required with applications to provide reasoning for the investment.
