From the National Forest Company on the death of Her Majesty the Queen 

A statement from the National Forest Company. 

The National Forest Company sends its sincere condolences to the Royal Family at this sad time.  

We are proud that the National Forest forms part of the Queen’s Green Canopy that marked her Platinum Jubilee and the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy that encourages international action on climate change.   

The trees planted through these initiatives have continued the transformation of this part of the Midlands and the creation of the National Forest, supported by her successive governments, and planting undertaken by many members of her family.  

As we all mourn the loss of our Sovereign, we will forever remember her love of trees as a symbol of hope for the future.
