Role: Evidence Officer (Social Impact)

We are now seeking an Evidence Officer (Social Impact) to join us on a part-time, fixed-term basis for two years, working 22.5 hours per week, with the potential for extension subject to funding. The successful candidate will be appointed within the Higher Executive Officer Grade Band 1 salary range of £20,886 to £22,599 pro rata (FTE £34,346 to £37,163).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for social impact, community wellbeing, and nature to join our research and evidence team. 

In this rewarding role, you'll help us understand and demonstrate how the National Forest is changing lives - from strengthening communities' connection to nature to improving wellbeing and supporting local enterprise. Your work will play a vital part in shaping a greener, healthier future for the people and places in the Forest.

You’ll be supported from day one with a tailored induction, ongoing development opportunities, and the chance to collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, academic partners and sector experts.

As an Evidence Officer (Social Impact), you will help track and report on the Forest's long‑term outcomes through monitoring, qualitative research, and evaluation methods, supporting colleagues in delivering effective, informed, and impactful projects. 

You will also coordinate commissioned research, analyse and present findings in clear, accessible formats, and help ensure high‑quality evidence informs our programmes, partnerships and decision‑making.
