Role: New National Forests Project Administrator
We are now seeking a Project Administrator to join us full‑time, working 37 hours per week on a fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2031, with the potential for extension depending on funding.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of a small, dedicated central team supporting the development of the three new national forests. You’ll coordinate meetings, collate reports, take minutes, track actions and maintain clear, timely communication with a wide range of external partners. You’ll also support the Project Manager with financial and performance processes, contribute to external communications activity and help to organise stakeholder events that bring people together around this ambitious national programme.
Day to day, you’ll keep information flowing smoothly, maintaining strong communication with internal colleagues and external partners, updating contact records on our CRM system, and helping to manage enquiries so that everyone engaging with the project receives a positive and professional experience.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring at least two years’ experience in a similar position, with proven project administration skills, confidence in managing relationships with external partners and a solid grounding in office administration, including financial processes. Most importantly, you’ll bring a calm, organised approach and a genuine interest in supporting work that delivers long‑term environmental and social impact.
The application deadline is 12 noon on Monday 20 July. Interviews will take place at the National Forest offices in Moira on Wednesday 29 July.
The National Forest Company relies on the experience and commitment of people of all ages and backgrounds. It operates as an inclusive organisation and welcomes applications from all.
