Summary

In the National Forest you can enjoy a peaceful walk in the woods, the sound of birdsong, the sight of a passing deer possibly, or maybe, a picnic by a bubbling stream. At Field Sport UK, set within the National Forest, you can get chased by zombies, throw axes, fire arrows or escape from ‘prison’! This venue in the National Forest has it all.

This destination, located in Coleorton, offers have-a-go sessions, lessons and experiences, from shooting activities to bushcraft. It is an ideal venue for team-building days, family days out, gift experiences, stag and hen parties, school residential trips and corporate functions.

The activity centre was originally a landfill site, then planted and left for 20 years with no woodland management plan. It became neglected and many trees died due to overcrowding. The centre has since sympathetically managed the woodland, removed dead trees and invasive weeds to create a rich, healthy woodland, which is now home to lots of plants and wildlife.

Individual activities available include air rifle and pistol shooting, clay shooting, an assault course, bushcraft and survival skills. Activities can be delivered according to expertise, from novice to expert. It is possible to combine a number of activities into different multi-experience, adrenaline-pumping packages. The sharpest shooters have the chance to end up on the Field Sport UK leaderboard of their all-time, highest-ranking visitors.
