One-off Donation – Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (as amended from time to time) govern the relationship between you (the donor) and us (the National Forest Company, company number 02991970, registered charity number 1166563 “National Forest”, “us”) in relation to any donation payment you make to us through our website http://www.nationalforest.org/.

By confirming on the website that you wish to make a donation you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions for that donation.

1. The Donation

We will use your donation at our discretion but within our stated charitable objectives and in accordance with our Fundraising Promise.

All donations through our website are to be made via our payment services provider, Paypal. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation you authorise Paypal (or such other payment services provider as we may use from time to time) to request funds from your credit or debit card provider (as applicable).

2. Gift Aid

When you donate to us through our website and confirm that you are a UK taxpayer in accordance with the requirements of the Gift Aid scheme as they apply from time to time, we can reclaim Gift Aid.

It is your responsibility to determine whether you qualify for Gift Aid and we are not able to provide any form of legal, financial or taxation advice in this regard.

3. Acknowledgement

We will send you prompt acknowledgement by email confirming receipt of your donation. If you do not receive such an email from us please do let us know as soon as possible.

4. Ongoing Donations

These terms and conditions only relate to one-off donations made through our website. If you wish to make regular donations to the National Forest, please visit here for information on our Supporters’ Scheme.

5. Refunds

We are not able to give refunds for voluntary donations. However, if you have made a donation in error or if you have any other concerns regarding your donation or a potential donation, please do contact us using the contact us form.

6. Regulation

7. General

This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

All personal information that you provide to us from time to time will be collected, managed and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For further details please visit our Privacy Policy page.

If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

These terms are governed by English law and you can only bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English courts.
