This 14.37ha woodland was created through the National Forest Company's Tender Scheme in 2006/07 and lies to the east of Coton in the Elms. It was designed to add variety to the landscape and provide a link to other woodlands in the area.
The south west corner of this woodland has been identified as the most land locked part of the UK mainland and an oak tree marks the spot!
