From a young age, Hilary Harris loved nature, particularly the woods, and, with her partner Paul Krisson, they recognized the importance of trees in combating climate change.

Unable to plant their own trees because of space, they discovered the National Forest's website and chose to dedicate a grove for their children and future generations as a way of giving back to the environment.
The grove holds deep meaning for their family, especially after their daughter was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer shortly after having a baby. This made them value every day and want to create something lasting in a beautiful place.
For Hilary and Paul, their grove represents pride, joy, and the fulfilment of leaving a legacy for future generations.
