Let the journey begin.

The National Forest Trek is a fully supported annual walking challenge through the lush woodlands, rolling countryside and industrial heritage of the National Forest Way, right here in the Midlands – so you don’t have to travel far to have a real adventure!

Sign up for the full three-day trek, two days, or join us for a single day hike almost anyone can do. Step by step you’ll reconnect with nature and with those around you, all while raising money to support the work of the three partner charities; the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Benevolent Fund, the National Forest and the National Memorial Arboretum, or you can choose to raise funds for another charity that is close to your heart.

Get to know your fellow trekkers as you step through the transforming landscape of the National Forest which changes with every turn of the trail, looking out for our great British wildlife, thousand year old trees and historic landmarks. There is no need for maps on our fully signed route and our regular pit stops will keep you fed and watered. Expect a great atmosphere and a fantastic dinner and breakfast in our campsites for those doing the two or three day trek, and our fantastic event crew, sports massage therapists and medics will be on hand to help you every step of the way, including moving all your overnight bags forward to the campsite each morning.

The National Forest Trek will take place 9th - 11th September 2022, visit the website for more information.
